HITOSHI SAKUMA
Age 87, of Honolulu, passed away on March 24, 2011. Born in Keahua, Maui, he was a retired Sergeant with the U.S. Army and retired maintenance foreman for the State of Hawaii at the State Capitol. He is survived by his wife, Asako Sakuma; sons, Melvin (Linda) and Rodney Sakuma; daughters, Keiko (Dr. Deane) Sakuma-Neubauer, Florence (Byrnes) Yamashita and Jane (Jonathan) Sakuma Wong; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; brother, Haruo (Yoshiko) Sakuma; sisters, Lily (Richard) Miyamoto, Kiyoe Kumasaka, Matsue Inokuma, Harue (Carl) Yokote, Yatsue Iwatake and Yurino (Alan) Sugiki.
Visitation from 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2011, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Aloha attire.
