Ronald Melvin "Ron" Wandt, 74, of Kailua-Kona, a retired certified public accountant and a Marine Corps veteran, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Summerfield, Mich. He is survived by daughters Kathleen Hickling, Susan Hams, Debbie and Chris Zylstra, and Angela Huizinga; sister Sharon MacLaren; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services: 9 a.m. April 26 at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery III. Private scattering of ashes.
