Encarnacion passed away peacefully at home in Honolulu on May 11, 2019. She was born on May 17, 1927 in Osamiz City, Philippines. Encarnacion was an "intern" student at Holy Spirit College, Manila, an exclusive school for women run by German sisters. She finished her Master's Degree in Education at the Philippine Women's University. She worked as the Dean of the College of Education and taught graduate students at the Immaculate Conception College in the Philippines. She is survived by her beloved husband Carlito Ramiscal, brother Dr. Maximo Ledesma of Florida, and sister Lutgarda Borja in the Philippines. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel, Downtown. Visitation: 10:30 a.m.; Service: 11:30 a.m.
