Age 88, of Honolulu passed away at home on May 24, 2019. He was born in Canton, China and came to Hawaii at age 6. He is a graduate of McKinley High School and after a career of 33 years as an electronic technician at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, he retired in 1986 but continued with his part-time business as a television repairman. He was an active member of Wong Kong Har Tong and the Hololo Club where he got to socialize and eat out at various restaurants every month. Albert loved to watch sports, especially UH games and golf. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sally Wong, daughters Linda Wong, Leona (Stanford) Higuchi, Lynette (Frank) Okamura, Pamela (Dominic) Carrejo, grandchildren Benjamin and Sydni Carrejo, and Sister Rose Palmer of Hendersonville, Tennessee. Services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Visitation at 9:30 AM and memorial service will begin at 10:30 AM.
