Eliana, 68, passed away peacefully in Aiea on May 14, 2019. Born to Clifford and Eleanor in Honolulu. Survived by mother Eleanor; children Michele, Monica, Mellissa (Mike), Keali'i, and Wendy (John); grand- children Kainalu, Kaimana, Bella Rose, Mahina Bleu, and Leora Grace, 6 siblings, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A caring and compassionate nurse for over 25 years, Darrel was appreciated and respected by patients and colleagues alike. She was a wonderful best friend to many, and always made people feel welcomed and important. With an easy smile and accepting persona, she was to many a lifelong, loyal friend. Above all, Cookie loved being a mom and a grandma. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Valley of the Temples Mortuary on Thurs., June 13, 2019. Visitation: 5:30pm Service: 6:30pm.
