Maile Lydia Lonokahikini Keola Chang, 88, of Honolulu died peacefully on June 11, 2019, at Pali Momi Medical Center. Maile was born on October 11, 1930 in Hilo. She was the daughter of James N.K. Keola and Maile Marguerite Hall. She was raised in Waikiki by her half-sister Violet K.K. Kinney and husband Oliver Kinney. Maile graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1949 and attended business school in San Francisco. She worked for Ann Grubb, Ltd., and Hawaiian Trust Co., where she met her husband Harvey H.Y. Chang. Maile will be remembered for her love of sports, joyful laugh, and stories of old Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and infant son Teney K. C. Chang. She is survived by her hanai family Thomas and Beatrice Pacheco, Brenda Pacheco and Phillip Cser, and Robert Pacheco. Service will be privately held. Arrangements Provided By: Diamond Head Mortuary
