Of Kapolei, Hawaii was called to rest at the age of 83 on May 22, 2019. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1957, served in Vietnam, and retired in 1981. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Nuestro, daughter, Raquel (George) Haydu, sons, Marvin (Tricia) Nuestro and German Nuestro, Jr. (Maria Eugenia Leon Guerrero), sisters, Flora Romento and Diosa Sinlao, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Service will be held Tuesday, July 9 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Makakilo. Visitation from 9:15-10:15 a.m., Mass from 10:15-11:30 a.m., and Burial Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery in Kaneohe.
