AMELIA O. ANDRADE
AMELIA O. ANDRADE Amelia Andrade was known and loved by many as the life of the party a woman who could light up a room like none other. She was born on January 16, 1949, to parents Walter "Dutchy" and Mary Olsen of Nuuanu. One of three girls, she brought joy, compassion and kindness to her many friendships throughout her life. She graduated from Punahou School and received her undergraduate degree from Mt. St. Mary's College in Washington. Amelia had a successful career as a real estate professional and enjoyed golfing with her friends at Oahu Country Club. Most of all, she loved spending time with her daughter, two granddaughters, sister, nieces and nephews. Amelia will be forever remembered for her heartfelt generosity, competitive spirit, and lifelong commitment to being a loving and caring daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her mother Mary Olsen, sister Claire Johnson (Larry), daughter Allison Andrade Gammel (Blake), granddaughters and companion Jack Flanagan. A celebration of Amelia's life will be held Monday, August 19 at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Visitation at 11:00 a.m., service at 12:00 p.m. Aloha attire.
