Our beloved mother, Soo Kyung Woo, passed peacefully at home on August 1, 2019 at the age of 100. She was born on January 21, 1919 in Waialua, Hawaii on the island of Oahu but spent most of her life in Honolulu with husband, Joseph, raising their 5 sons. She will always be remembered as a kind and generous lady who would go out of her way to help family and friends. Mrs. Woo was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, and 2nd son, Douglas. She is survived by younger sister Soo Myung Ferrante, 4 sons Calvin/Susan, Brian/Sheryl, Arthur/Mi Sook and Eric/Georgette, and daughter-in-law Patricia Woo. She had 9 grand- children and 12 great-grand- children. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Borthwick Mortuary, Maunakea Chapel. Visitation from 9:30 am, services at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at City Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00pm. Casual attire.
