Russell Tadashi Omoto, 95, of Hilo, formerly of Maui and Honolulu, a retired principal for Maui schools, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Puunene, Maui. He is survived by daughters Carol Takamura and Linda Shintaku, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
