Toshio “Joe†Watanabe, 85, of Wahiawa, a retired Hawaii Stevedores welder and an Army veteran, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Wahiawa. He is survived by wife Toshie; son Byron; daughter Ramona Yano; brother Richard; sisters Ethel Onitsuka, Leatrice Aihara and Ruth Kawamoto; and four grandchildren. Private services.
