BRENDAN KAUKAOPUA CRAVALHO
68, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, passed away peacefully in Englewood, Colorado on October 21, 2019. He was born and raised in Kalihi, Oahu and is a 1969 graduate of Damien Memorial School. In 1970, he joined the workforce at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (PHNSY) as a Rigger. Throughout his 49 years of PHNSY Brendan held a number of supervisory positions progressing to his present position as Waterfront Logistics Manager. In 1988, Brendan became active in Hawaii's soccer community with the American Youth Soccer Association (AYSO). He volunteered as a coach, referee, tournament director, and several director positions at both the local and national levels. Within a short time he embraced the mantra "It's for the Kids". His passion for kids and soccer led him down a road of 31 years of community service with AYSO. Brendan is survived by his wife, Jaime Reed; sisters, Christine Anjo and Theodora Furtado; brothers, Andreas (Annette) and Domingo Jr (Sharon), and an abundance of nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Resurrection of the Lord Church (94-1260 Lumikula St. Waipio Gentry/ Crestview.) Visitation at 10:30 am followed by mass at 11:00 am. Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary Mauka Chapel (Mililani Memorial Park Rd at Ka Uka Blvd, Waipahu). Visitation at 5:30 pm and Memorial Service at 6:30 pm. Aloha attire. No flowers.
