78 of Hawaii Kai, passed away on August 16, 2019. He was born on February 8, 1941. Served in the U.S. Air Force and had a family business, Hirata Chevron in Moiliili and retired from the Department of Transportation. Survived by wife, Mable; children Denise Druckman, Debbie Hirata and Dean (Tam-Que) Hirata; grandchildren Allison, Kyle, Curran & Quinn; brother Edward Hirata. Private service held.
