Jeremiah "Miah" Mahuiki, 51, of Haena, Kauai, an artist and musician, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lihue. He is survived by wife Mahtia; son Daniel Alapai; daughter Savanna Reis; brothers Roland, Russell, Doiron, Ezera, Randy, Matthew, Stanley and Mark; sisters Ardella Sperling and Tira, Jolly Ann and Lukela Mahuiki; and four grandchildren. Celebration of life and potluck gathering: 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Haena Beach Park. Scattering of ashes to follow.
