Lori Keiko Nogami-Young
65, of Honolulu, passed away on July 13. Born on January 27, 1955 in Honolulu to Ann Masae and Richard Nogami, Lori was a talented artist and successful entrepreneur. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Design from UH Manoa, she followed her passions to work as a graphic designer, received training to provide physical therapy/healing massage treatments, and was a yoga instructor. She was the founder of several businesses: Healing Arts, Ke Ola Pono Body Works, Ananda Bead Company, and Luckie Frog Happy Readings. Lori's hobbies included hula, belly dancing, and Japanese flower arranging, where she attained the level of Sogetsu Ikebana sensei, with flower name "Ren Ka." Preceded in death by her father, hanai parents Betty and Harold Silva, and hanai brother Hal, Lori is survived by her mother, beloved husband Aaron, and their four "babies."
