74, of Aiea, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on July 24, 2020. Raymond grew up in Kuliouou, graduating from Kalani High School in 1964. He graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Business Administration. Raymond was a founding partner of Chee & Yamasaki, CPA's for 33 years and retired in 2014. He believed in working hard and having a good attitude. Throughout his working years, he was an active member of the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce, serving as chairman from 1990-1991, and continued on the Board of Directors in retirement.Raymond was an avid sports fan and shared his enthusiasm for sports with those around him. In his retirement years, he enjoyed traveling, attending class reunions, having lunch with long time friends, and spending time with his 5 grandsons. Raymond always put his family first and will always be remembered for his advice and wisdom.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 49 years, Teresa Yamasaki; his daughter Lori Alamodin; grand- sons: Adam, Joshua, & Logan; son Craig (Tisha) Yamasaki; and grandsons: Rhyse & Khyan.
Raymond is also survived by his sisters: Elaine (Tom) Wada of California and Jean (John) Kuge of Maui.
