Marilyn Lydia Abejon
Marilyn Lydia AbejonMarilyn Lydia (Dikilato) Abejon was born on September 4, 1953 and went on to join other family and loved ones on November 7, 2020. She graduated from Farrington High School and soon after high school she enrolled in United States Air Force in 1972 as a Personnel Specialist. She also continued her education at Kapiolani Community College, Honolulu Community College and Windward Community College. Marilyn was part of the Filapiniana Dance Company from 1966-1969 where she would dance various Filipino dances and even be seen on TV every Sunday morning. Marilyn worked various jobs throughout her life but the most rewarding occupation by far was wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Marilyn was a perfectionist who was also multi-talented. She was an excellent cook and seamstress. She loved doing Legos, Nanoblocks and various puzzles. Another one of Marilyn's traits was her generosity and kind heart. She was always thinking of others whether it is family or friends. Christmas was her favorite time of the year and she would watch all the Christmas movies on Hallmark and Lifetime many times over. Before she left, she had asked the grandkids to set up the Christmas tree which she was able to see and this made her very happy. The daughter of Gregory Dikilato, Sr. and Nena Mendoza (both deceased) and sister of Gregory Dikilato, Jr. (deceased). She is survived by her husband Jose Abejon Jr., daughter Michelle Correa (William), daughter Melanie Abejon, and son Jonathan Abejon (Anna) eight grandchildren and siblings, Patricia Texeira (Robert), Stephanie Silva (Alan), Step sisters Angel DePasquale (Damian), Tracey Bumanglag-Taoka (Sean) and Step brother Hilarian Bumanglag Jr.
