FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

William “Billy” Bray Gasper, Sr.
William Age 90, of Kahalu'u, was born in Honolulu on July 30, 1930 and passed away on December 24, 2020. He was a man of many stations in life, having served in the US Army (stationed in Japan during the Korean War) and the US Marine Corps. He retired from OTS "The Bus Company" after 36 years of service. He loved driving and taking care of his passengers, was an avid fisherman, and was well known for his cooking for family lu'aus. He was a beloved husband, father, and family patriarch and was loved by so many because of his Aloha Spirit.
He is survived by his wife, Trixy; sons, William Jr., Brian, Glenn, Jeffrey, Shayne (Terry), Guy Lee (Rosa), Dennis (Afia "Moa"), Steven (Kealalaina) and Michael Gasper; daughters, Sharon (Jeffrey) Medeiros, Debra Import, Faye (Bernard) Melemai, Denise (James) Leopoldo, Terry "Noe" Kalani, Carol "Kamalei" Kalani, Dorothy "Leilani" Gasper-Aiu, Sandra (Robert "Lopaka") Kealoha, Branda (Edward) Mitchell and Cyd (Denis) Kamakea; brother, Charles "Sonny" (Verda) Gasper; sister, Mary (Lannie) Berryman; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
