Mauricio B. Balisacan, 73, of Kapaa, Kauai, a retired Kentucky Fried Chicken cook, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Rosa; sons Amante and Mauricio Jr.; daughters Chita Capistrano and Marylou Iglesia; brother Francisco; sisters Salome Balisacan, Florinda Ganotisi, Felicidad Urata and Fortunata Dumayas; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Friday at Borthwick Mortuary, Koloa, Kauai. Additional visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihue Cemetery.
