Edward Dading "Eddie" Torres Sr., 89, of Waianae, a retired custodian for Waianae Elementary and High schools, a professional keyboardist and string musician, and an ukulele virtuoso with Hookipa who greeted tourists at Honolulu Airport, died at home. He was born in Puunene, Maui. He is survived by wife Pastora; sons Edward Jr., Timothy, Gregory and Kenneth Torres, Roger Tapac, and William, Randal, Derrick "Rick" and Leroy Maglinti; daughters Linda J. Perez, Bernadette Haggette, Teresa "Inca" Bissonette, Debra M. Torres and Gerrie Fasteen; 35 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 11:30 a.m. Burial: 3 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park. Aloha attire. Incorrect information published in an obituary Saturday.
