Fujio "Fudge" Nakamura passed away on July 07, 2021, at the age of 94. He is survived by his wife of 68 years; Mildred "Millie" Nakamura; 2 children, Baron Nakamura and Joy (Billy) Blair, and 2 grandsons, Coby and Casey Thornton.He was born and raised in Waianae, Hawaii, graduated from Waipahu High School, served in the US Army and retired from United Airlines after 34+ years as an air and power line inspector. "Fudge" was a quiet man who was very skilled with anything mechanical. He could fix, modify or repair anything in and outside of the home. He loved working in his yard and could spend hours just doing simple things like pulling weeds or picking up dried pine needles. Although he was a man of few words, he had a warm and humble smile that made you feel welcomed and let you know he was happy to see you. He never complained nor grumbled about anything. He was just grateful for what he had. He truly was a remarkable man who was admired for his calm perseverance.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a good man who was loyal, fair with all who knew him, and he will be missed dearly.
