John F. Kawakami, 50, of Lihue, a fisherman, died in Lihue. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by companion Mary Kojiri, son Chance, daughter Sonoi and parents Toru and May. Visitation: 10 a.m. Sunday at Garden Island Mortuary.
