She was preceded in death by her longtime companion attorney Richard Welsh, her parents Howard and Daisy Buckwalter, and her sister Janet Saxon and her husband Gordon Saxon. The family wishes to thank Grace Ordonia for the care and friendship she gave to Edith during her last years and Beau George for years of friendship and all the help he provided Edith that allowed her to continue to live on her own for so many years. Family will meet at a later date to celebrate her life. If you wish to honor Edith, please consider donating to your favorite animal shelter or bird sanctuary in her name.
