"Sue" Sueko I. Yamamoto passed from this life on December 21, 2021 at Pali Momi Medical Center. She was born in 1936 in Hawi, Hawaii. Her life was expressed with joy, love and kindness to everyone around her, especially her 1st grade students at Lincoln Elementary School where she retired from after more than 30 years of service.Preceded in death by husband of 55 years, George Yamamoto, Sue is survived by her son Art, daughter Liz (David Wentworth) Yamamoto and grandson Palmer. Sue is also survived by sisters Kathleen Y. Chun-Ming, Hideko "Heidi" Ishibashi and Sachi Cox.
Services being held at Hosoi Garden Mortuary on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. 9 a.m. visitation and 10 a.m. memorial services. Vaccine card and ID or COVID test within 48 hours is required. Masks must also be worn throughout the services.
