"Proud Veteran" Bo moved his family to St. Paul, MN in 1974 to work for the 3M Company, Plant Engineering Supervisor, and retired with 32 years of service.

Ohata, wife Tracey, grandchildren Evalani and Kaia of Burlington, Ontario, Canada; daughter Tina Malia Ohata Roeser, husband Dan, grandchildren Jackson and Kendall of Hugo, MN; son Derek Keone Ohata, wife Tricia of Herriman, UT; Hanai, Kaimi Balancio, Kamuela, HI; brother, Reuben Alan Nakagawa, wife Mindy of Waipahu; sister, Charlienne Riko Tamon, Honolulu; brother, Randy Lee Nakagawa, Honolulu. Preceded in death by father, Mervin T. Ohata, Rosalind "Rosie" Ohata; brothers, Calvin and Alvin Nakagawa; stepfather Charles T. Nakagawa.
A Celebration of Bo's life will be planned for the spring.
Ashes will be returned to Hawaii.
