CHIYOKO SHARP
Chiyoko Sharp, of Mililani, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 10th. Tenderly cared for at home by her loving family, she passed peacefully. She is survived by her husband Jim, sons Toshio (Angie), George (Vivian), daughters Jennifer Prophet (Jeff), Liz Duh (James), and blessed with beautiful grand- children and great-grandchildren. A native of Okinawa, Chiyoko is survived there by her sisters Sachiko Matsuda and Yoko Yamauchi. She was preceded in death by her parents Ankichi and Haru (Shiroma) Higa, and by sister Yoshi Arashiro, and brothers Ansei, and Yoshio.
A retired Hawaii Department of Education employee, Chiyoko's greatest passions were caring for her family, and sharing with others her faith in Jesus Christ. At her request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Her living legacy is the memories she made with family, friends, and co-workers, or with total strangers in need of a compassionate word or deed.
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
