Stephen Boughey passed away unexpectedly on January 18, 2022 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was born on May 13, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. Stephen worked for over 30 years as a seasonal employee working mostly in National Parks as a cook. He especially enjoyed working in Alaska during the last 10 years. During the off season he worked at various hotels and other places. He liked the vagabond lifestyle and on his days off he was able to do a lot of hiking and taking pictures. His favorite athletic teams were the Buffalo Bills and Toronto Blue Jays. Stephen was never married and had no children.
Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Fred in 2010 and mother, Kathy in 2018. He is survived by his step-father, Robert Cassell; uncle, Dan Boughey and wife Natalie; aunt, Ruth Kilstrom; aunt, Carole Boughey; and several cousins.
Internment is in Mountain View Cemetery in Boulder, Colo., close to his father and grandparents. Arrangements Provided By:
