After returning to his beloved Hawai'i he began his 50+ years in the lumber and building materials industry. He started his career at MidPac Lumber Company. Relocated to Maui to work at A & B Commercial. Always a true entrepreneur at heart, Wayne started a new venture opening NO KA OI Distributors designing custom kitchens and countertops. He also started Alii Trophies with his loving wife Guillerma Gail Lincoln creating unique one of a kind koa trophies, awards as well as silkscreening. Returning to MidPac Lumber reignited his passion for the building industry. He became the Director of Marketing & Sales. Wayne became the Charter President of Hawaii Steel Alliance which helped to stimulate the use of steel in the construction of residential homes. He managed Total Building Products. Honsador Building Products was his final employer. As the Exec -Vice President of Marketing & Sales and the more than 50 years in the industry Wayne touched the hearts of all he met. He enjoyed great memories and accomplishments in his lifetime.Wayne was a great mentor and leader who was always sharing his knowledge so others could excel.
Wayne's passions included his love of wood working, creating custom koa trophies and furniture. Designed product showroom displays. His singing captured the hearts of many with his melodic voice. His favorite songs were: After the lovin' and A part of me, part of you by Mo Kahale to name a few. A friendly game of golf with friends and colleagues he truly enjoyed.
As a member and trustee of the Pearl City Elk's Lodge #2669, Wayne dedicated countless time and energy promoting the lodges values.
Survived by his loving wife Guillerma Gail Lincoln, sister, Lani Wagner, daughters, Dawn Lincoln Viela (Lee), Lee Ann Harders (Karl), son, Matthew Kana'i Lincoln. 5 grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren.
Celebration of his life will be held at Kawaiaha'o Church, 957 Punchbowl Street, Honolulu, 96813, March 12, 2022 from 10:00 am - 2 pm.
