Age 87, passed away on January 11, 2022. Roy graduated from Farrington High School in 1952 and later graduated from the University of Hawaii. Roy was a counselor at Kaiser High School and upon retirement became a massage therapist. He served in the United States Armed Services for two years. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Nakamura, children Debi (Stephen) Ueda and Reid (Lisa Anne) Nakamura and three grand- children Kyra, Ally and Aidan. He is also survived by his siblings Michael (Kay) Nakamura and Lynn Nakamura. His death was followed by the recent passing of his sister, Audrey Nakamura.
A private Celebration of Life and inurnment service was held.
