Philip Minoru Kuwabara, 82, of Kailua, former owner of Honolulu Pen Shop, died in Hawaii Medical Center East. He was born on Maui. He is survived by wife June K.; sons Lance M., David K. and Jason T.; daughter Alison Y. Rico; brothers Edward S. and Dr. Dennis M.; sister Mildred T. Nakagawa; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Private services.
