Age 85, of Honolulu, passed away June 23, 2011 at Kuakini Medical Center. Born October 4, 1925 in Honolulu. Susan was a dedicated President for the Kalihi-Palama Hawaiian Civic Club.
She is survived by husband, Gilbert M. Pine; sons, Bernard (Stephanie) Young, Donald (Sharon) Muraco; daughters, Paulette (Manuel) DeRosa, Denise Santos, Thelma Santos, Vanessa (Daniel Kalahiki) Kawamura; brother, Louis (Maile) Zarko; sister, Millie Kamaka Lee; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation 5 to 6 p.m. Friday July 15 at Mililani Downtown Mortuary, Celebration of Life at 6 p.m. Casual Attire.
