85, passed away March 12, 2022. He took over a family business as a mechanic, auto painter at his Dads business Henry's Auto Repair in Kaimuki and later was an auto parts sales person and manager. He was a fisherman, surfer who loved the ocean.He is survived by his son Guy Kakugawa, daughter Traci Reyes and husband Roddy; Grand daughters Dayna Tang and husband Mark Tang, Jamie Kakugawa, Brandy Reyes; Two sisters Evelyn Takahashi and Doris Masu.
He loved to teach or help people with their car problems and treated many as family he thought of many as his sons and daughters.
He was kind and thoughtful till the end. He was an honest man. He lived and thought young in mind and heart and he was always joking and smiling.
A part of his ashes will be released in a small ceremony at the beach to be scheduled, and a part will be with his mother and father in Oahu Cemetery
