Margaret Frances (Freitas) Adessa, age 70, of Makakilo, passed away on February 25, 2022, surrounded by her family. Born on April 6, 1951, to Frank and Marceline Freitas in Honolulu, Margaret attended Holy Trinity School and graduated high school from Star of the Sea School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Seattle University. Margaret retired from the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard as a Program Manager after a 43-year career.The world missed the opportunity of having Margaret as their teacher. Instead, her family, friends, and coworkers, benefited from the fun, innovative, and educational crafting memories she created. From decorations for holidays and events, ingenious themed parties, and costumes for any occasion, Margaret always had a plan.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 41 years, Chester Adessa and daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Goslin; brother, Frank (Janie) Freitas; sisters, Katherine (Lance) Freitas, and Sydney (Robert) Dickerson. Celebration of Life for Margaret and her sister Lei-Nora Freitas, will be Sunday, May 22, 2022, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Please contact Sydney for more information at 808-927-4240.
