Tom married Ellen Yoshiye Seki in 1956. They both loved to travel and were able to visit 49 of the 50 states, Canada, Japan, China, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. After retirement, they joined the Kaneohe Senior Center. There Tom enjoyed singing Hawaiian songs and playing ukulele, watercolor painting, and attending Hawaiian language classes.
Tom will be remembered by all for his kindness, hard work, and gentle spirit. He is survived by his wife, Ellen; son, Gary (Jodi) Yoshioka; daughters Donna (Gerald) Young and Gina (Craig) Nakahara; five grandchildren: Courtney, Jennifer, Mia, Reyn, and Taylor; and sisters Betty Morimoto and Harriet Tojo.
Before he passed, he wasn't able to thank his relatives, friends and neighbors for a wonderful life. He said to please thank all of them and he hopes to see all of them in the next life.
Aloha and A Hui Hou!
