Manuel Gutierres, 83, of Kohala, Hawaii, a Mauna Kea Beach Hotel retiree, died in Kohala Hospital. He was born in Kohala. He is survived by sons Anthony, Kelvin and Gilbert; daughters Cynthia Amar, Rosemary Yamamoto and Priscilla Galan; brothers Gary and Joseph; sister Helen Ortiz; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at the church cemetery. Casual attire.
