Gail Lee
Gail Andrews Lee, 71, passed away on March 19, 2023. She was born in Japan, grew up in Honolulu, and attended the University of Hawaii. A Realtor for 44 years, she worked in all aspects of the real estate business. During the 80s and throughout the 90s, while married to her ex-husband Donald Lee, they developed many lovely homes in Honolulu. In 2001, she started her own real estate brokerage firm: Gail Lee Properties, LLC. During her early years, she worked as a Polynesian dancer and also lived and modeled in Tokyo. In 1973, she was 1st runner-up in the Miss Hawaii USA pageant. Throughout her life, she enjoyed painting in both watercolors and acrylics and was known to have excellent taste in home decorating. Gail is a member of the Aloha Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution. As a descendant of three Pilgrim families who arrived in America as passengers aboard the Mayflower in 1620, she is also a member of the Mayflower Society. She is survived by her daughter Alana Kaumeheiwa Lee, son-in-law Nicholas Chong, and half-brother Erick Andrews of Scituate, Massachusetts. In keeping with her wishes, private services are to be held.
