94, of Kailua, an Army veteran and retired owner of 20th Century Furniture, passed away on March 7, 2023 at home. He was born on Maui. He is survived by sons, Glenford, Rickford and Sanford (Frances); daughters, Rowena (Stephen) Tsai, Regina Chung and Radina (Michael) Bates; and 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Kiyomi Sharon Chung, on August 13, 2018. A service celebrating the lives of Richard and Kiyomi Chung will be held at Hosoi Garden Mortuary on Sunday, May 21, 2023.
