Thomas Everett "Tom" Unger, 88, of Kailua-Kona, a Meadow Gold Dairies general manager in Hilo, Japan and Korea, and proprietor of Honomu Plantation Store, died at home. He also was a Hawaiian Holiday Macadamia Nut Co. general manager in Honokaa and an Army first lieutenant. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Janice; sons Keith, Thomas, Brian and Scott; daughters Jenine Gregory and Stephanie Unger; sister Norma Costa; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
