Walter Dai Mung Ching, 88, of Honolulu, a retired Haleakala Motors auto salesman and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Waihee, Maui. He is survived by wife Frances, son Clayton, daughters Karen Kwock and Susan Higa, brother Richard, sister Beatrice Goodenow and five grandchildren.
