Choichi "Shima" Shimabukuro, 92, of Lihue, a maintenance specialist with Kauai Soda and Coca-Cola, died in Garden Isle Health Care. He also was an Army veteran who served in World War II with the 100th Infantry Battalion. He was born in Wahiawa, Kauai. He is survived by wife Hanaye, sons Ross and Robin, daughter Joni Arakaki, brother Choji, sisters the Rev. Yoshiko Shimabukuro and Takeko Oyakawa, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
