Vilma Pernetta Gates Welton, 75, of Gilbert, Ariz., died in Gilbert. She was born in Waipahu. She is survived by sons Anthony J., Michael G. and Patrick E.; daughters Rose A. Bento, Roberta A. Friend, Mary H. Lopes and Catherine A. Brooks; sister Evelyn C. Hawkins; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Private services held in Gilbert.
