Carl Lon Snyder, 85, of Honolulu, a retired Navy lieutenant commander and retired Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Co. underwriter, died. He was born in Pasadena, Calif. He is survived by wife Frances A.; stepsons Moke Jr., Kaulana and Kaimana Young; sister Betty Hicks Beach; and four step-grandchildren. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hope Chapel Kaneohe Bay. Services: 11:30 a.m. Committal services: 9:30 a.m. next Tuesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Aloha attire. No flowers.
