Violet Anna Mahi Brooks, 86, of Waipahu died in Kapolei. She was born in Papaaloa, Hawaii. She is survived by daughters Nani Bezemer, Mary Ann Payton, Leimomi Stender-Jenkins, June Hickman and Jerice Brooks; 17 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Inurnment: 1 p.m. Friday at Mililani Memorial Park. Services: 11 a.m. Feb. 11 at Ke Ola Mau Loa Church, 65-1108 Mamalahoa Highway, Waimea, Hawaii. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
