Age 84, of Kapolei, Hawaii, passed away March 23, 2012 in Ewa Beach. Born June 7, 1927 in Honolulu, Hawaii. A retired principal from Mauka Lani Elementary School. Member of the Hale O Na Alii; the Hawaiian Civic Club; Latter-Day Saints member, Newtown Ward; and the Zenta Women's Club, Wahiawa.
She is survived by husband, William "Bill" Araki; son, John (Beryl) Tyau; daughter, Nellani "Tookie" (Bernard) Asato; step-sons, Robert (Grace) Araki, Charles Araki; step-daughters, Dawn (Alvin) Arasato, Darlene (Robert) Chai, Twila (Eliseo) Cuenca; sister, Delorinne (Gregory) Wong; 17 grand-children; 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation 10:00 a.m. Monday (April 9) at Mililani Downtown Mortuary (20 S. Kukui St., Honolulu); Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Burial 2:00 p.m. at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Casual Attire.
