Charles “Black†Lum-King, 69, of Waimanalo and North Kohala, Hawaii, a retired Office of Hawaiian Affairs fiscal officer, an American Savings Bank accountant and an Army veteran, died in North Hawaii Community Hospital. He was born in Hono-lulu. He is survived by wife Mona; daughters Leslie Neuberger, Kristin Hata, Stephanie Bennett, Lokelani Cochrane and Leslie “Kapua†Lum-King; brother Frani; sisters Annette “Apple†Wong and Iwalani Rodriguez; and 12 grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Monday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Burial: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
