Helen Patricia Kuwada, 84, of Honolulu died in St. Francis Hospice. She was born in Spring Valley, Minn. She is survived by husband Richard; sons Mark, James and Tad; brother James Root; sisters Margie Freyberg, Shirley Atkinson and Ruth Underwood; and five grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Donations suggested to St. Francis Hospice in memory of Helen Kuwada, P.O. Box 29700, Honolulu, HI 96820-2100.
