Yvonne Haunani "Nani" De Canto, 68, of Hilo, a homemaker, retired paramedical assistant and Pearl City Mental Health Clinic outreach counselor, died. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son John III; daughters Dayna De Canto-Santiago, Desiree De Canto-Gardner and D'Vette De Canto; hanai daughter Shaena; brother Norman M. Puni; sisters Aloma Puni and Ava Kridler; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Hawaii island services held. Oahu visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lanakila Ward, 622 N. Judd St., Honolulu. Services: 10:30 a.m. Lunch to follow.
