Sione Maligi Uta, 47, of Kapolei died in Pali Momi Medical Center. He was born in American Samoa. He is survived by wife Blossom L.; son John A.; daughter Leilani M.A. Paonessa; father Maligi; brothers Leamanaia "Joe," Ernest M., Maligi S. Jr. and Herman Uta, Darrell Meacham and James Keanu; sisters Brenda M. Uta, Mary Jackson and Fiamaua Taaga; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Friday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Services: 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Aloha or casual attire. Flowers welcome.
