Joseph Chunen Ching, 84, of Aiea, a retired Air Force master sergeant, died in Kapolei. He was born in Kaneohe. He is survived by wife Frances; sons Rodney and Cyrus; daughter Melanie; brothers Walter, Alfred, Sam and Francis; sisters Shirley Young and Eleanor Lau; and seven grandchildren. Private services.
