She is survived by husband Charles; daughters Bernadette Castro, Georgette DeMello, La Verne Hoshino and Jarena Pacarro; brothers Bernard and Bertram Hiapo; 15 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. Committal services:10:30 a.m. Friday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
